Ray Becker of Lusk Homes has been named chairman of a task force to encourage training for persons applying for subdivision reports to the state Department of Real Estate.
California law generally requires residential developers to obtain a final subdivision public report before property can be offered for sale.
Real estate Commissioner James A. Edmonds Jr. said the objective of the task force would be to reduce processing time.
