Local News in Brief : Burbank Cyclist Dies After Crash Into House

A Burbank man died Friday from injuries he suffered when his motorcycle plowed into the wall of a Sun Valley house, police said.
James Duane Goodman, 37, was traveling north on Glenoaks Boulevard near Roscoe Boulevard about 10 p.m. when his motorcycle ran off the road, hit a curb, a fence and a wall of the house at 8330 Glenoaks, said Officer J. Timmons of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.
Goodman was thrown from his motorcycle and struck the wall of the home.
Goodman was pronounced dead at Pacifica Hospital of the Valley at 11 p.m., Timmons said.
