Local News in Brief : Shopping Center Remodeling OKd

A plan to remodel the courtyard of the oldest shopping center on the Palos Verdes Peninsula was unanimously approved Tuesday night by the Rolling Hills Estates City Council.
The renovation includes the construction of a glass-covered atrium and an outdoor stage. It is part of an effort by the council to promote greater local interest in the Peninsula Center. No cost estimates were given for the renovation, which is tentatively set to be completed Oct. 31.
