Stanislav Bunin, a young Soviet pianist, and his mother have sought political asylum in Hamburg, the West German Interior Ministry said Thursday. Bunin was touring West Germany with a group of Soviet musicians last week when he and his mother traveled to Hamburg where they applied for residence permits, a Hamburg state government spokesman said. The spokesman could not say where Bunin was at present. A spokesman at the Soviet embassy in Bonn said Bunin did not return home when his concert tour ended on June 9.
