Olympic figure skating gold medalist Katarina Witt--who strutted to Michael Jackson’s pop/funk hit “Bad” at the Winter Olympics--is going to give the Buckled One some competition. Witt will emcee a rock concert in East Berlin on Sunday--the same day Jackson is performing in West Berlin. Witt’s show features Canadian rocker Bryan Adams plus a Dutch group, Bots Netherland, and East Germany’s hottest combo, City. “I like rock and all the music that young people like,” Witt said. “Music unites people.”
