Sen. Wilson on the Midgetman

How can one disagree with Wilson when he says, vis-a-vis the Midgetman “we can’t afford to waste $25 billion”?
It is ironic, however, that Wilson steadfastly supported the B-1, which, rendered almost totally impotent by its technical deficiencies, has wasted $28 billion to date, with no end in sight.
Could this inconsistency have anything to do with jobs/votes per billion wasted?
