Robert E. Bowdoin has been named chief executive of Family Savings & Loan, the Los Angeles thrift said. Bowdoin, who will continue as Family Savings president, replaces Oliver A. Trigg Jr., who resigned last month. The FBI has confirmed that it is investigating possible fraud at the thrift.
Family Savings also announced that Wayne C. Collett has resigned as senior vice president and chief of operations. Collett, a lawyer and former Olympic silver medalist, played a prominent role in Family Savings’ management under Trigg.
