Local News in Brief : Man Hospitalized After Drive-By Shooting

The victim of a drive-by shooting near a fast-food restaurant was in stable condition Sunday at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, police said.
The man was shot once in the chest about 9 p.m. Saturday in front of the In-N-Out Burger in the 11000 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, said Los Angeles Police Officer Normand Dumais.
Authorities refused to reveal the victim’s identity, his age or hometown. Dumais said police do not believe the shooting was gang-related. Investigators have no suspects in the case.
