Police in Addison, Tex., a Dallas suburb, jailed Dallas Cowboys defensive end Ed (Too Tall) Jones on investigative charges of public lewdness.
Jones, 37, and a woman whose identity was withheld were released from the Addison City Jail early Friday, Addison Police Chief Rick Sullivan said.
Two officers observed suspicious activity behind a tavern and claimed that Jones and a woman were involved in a public act determined to be lewd, Sullivan said.
