Ben Johnson of Canada, the world record-holder in the 100-meter dash, said he won’t race for another couple of months but that a pulled hamstring won’t keep him out of the Olympic Games at Seoul, South Korea, in September or from pre-Olympic matchups with Carl Lewis.
Johnson said he would be ready for the Canadian Championships in Ottawa Aug. 5. That figures to be his first race since he suffered the injury in Tokyo May 13.
