Local News in Brief : Westminster : Senior Center Renaming to Honor the Sullivans

The city’s senior center will be officially renamed in memory of Errol and Mildred Sullivan, who were strong advocates for senior citizens and instrumental in building the center nine years ago.
The official renaming ceremony will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, said Betty Goyne, executive director of the center.
“Both were well known in the community,” Goyne said. “Errol Sullivan was on the Westminster Aging Commission and also was the city’s representative to the Orange County Council on Aging.”
The Sullivans died 10 days apart about two years ago, she said.
The center is at 8200 Westminster Blvd.
