One hundred days before the Olympic Games are due to start, radical students bombarded police in Seoul, South Korea, and eight provincial cities with firebombs and rocks. Scores of policemen and students were injured.
On a more peaceful note, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and a selection of Seoul citizens raised the flags of the 161 competing nations in City Hall Plaza.
