W. Berlin Police Attacked

WEST BERLIN — Protesters occupying a plot of land near the Berlin Wall used slingshots to shoot stones and steel balls at West Berlin police Wednesday, injuring one of the officers, authorities said. About 60 environmentalists have been occupying the site since May 25, protesting plans to build a street through the area.
