Bell, Maywood : ‘Spring Clean’ Project

The cities of Bell and Maywood will sponsor a “Spring Clean” effort all next week to remove graffiti and pick up discarded items from sidewalks and alleys.
Schools, service clubs, senior citizens, Boy Scouts and church groups are expected to participate in the cleanup, which will also include door-to-door window washing and fence painting.
Maywood and Bell have each donated $750 to pay for a weekend barbecue for participants and buy promotional materials. Business leaders under the direction of the Bell Chamber of Commerce have donated paint and other supplies.
