Kay Mills has brought to our attention a person whom the entire community must revere. Lawrence Clark Powell, founding dean of UCLA’s library school, is not just a man from UCLA--he is man of our times, someone who understood that the “word” came first (Opinion, May 29). Thanks for her remembrance.
