Orange County developers want the taxpayer, not the developer, to pay the cost of development, and they intend to control campaigns and candidates through their pocketbooks. Orange County’s voters need to keep these facts in mind as they read the developers’ “hit pieces” and clever campaign ads in the next few days and as they vote Tuesday.
