Mass. Capitol Evacuated

BOSTON — A gas leak triggered by a renovation crew forced a brief evacuation of the Capitol today. Gov. Michael S. Dukakis was not in the building when the evacuation order was issued at 9:50 a.m. The Democratic presidential front-runner had already embarked on a campaign swing to Washington D.C. and California.
