Dominic Alvaraz Voted MVP of Sunset League

Dominic Alvarez of Huntington Beach High School, a three-year starter, was named the most valuable player of the Sunset League in a vote of the league’s baseball coaches. Alvarez batted .313 and had a 4-2 record as a pitcher.
Westminster, which finished third in the league after it forfeited its final league victory, dominated the first team with four selections, including standout junior Ryan Klesko. Klesko batted .480 and was 4-2 on the mound.
