The Campaign for a Seat in 40th Congressional District

Christopher Cox declares in his campaign material that he was senior associate counsel to President Reagan. I think he should explain “senior associate counsel to President Reagan.” I think he should explain to the voters of the 40th Congressional District just what advice and counsel he gave to the President on the Contra affair.
Cox has called on Ollie North to come to California to campaign for him. Does this indicate that Cox could have had intimate knowledge of Col. North’s activities and could have played an important role in giving poor advice to the President?
