Hewlett-Packard said the antitrust suit Wiltron filed against H-P was without merit. The suit charged Palo Alto-based H-P with monopolizing the market for vector network analyzers, which are used to test microwave equipment. Hewlett-Packard said Wiltron filed the suit after H-P demanded that Wiltron obtain licenses from H-P for seven patents.
