George Andrews has joined the Santa Ana-based Cherry division of Textron as vice president/general manager. He succeeds John Schaefer, who is now vice president, division services, with responsibility for plant engineering, production tooling, maintenance and environmental services. Andrews was previously operations manager for the Tridair division of Rexnord. Cherry is a manufacturer of commercial and aerospace fasteners.
