Several South Lake Tahoe high school students just said no to a man trying to sell them marijuana cigarettes on campus and then turned him in to police, authorities said Wednesday. That was in contrast to three years ago, when federal and city drug enforcement officers conducted a 15-minute sweep through the school, arresting 14 students and 12 adults. “Maybe it’s education,” an assistant principal said. “But we’re starting to see the pendulum swing the other way. I have to admit I was a little surprised because the kids who reported it weren’t all what you’d consider goody-two-shoes.”
