I was very touched by the story on Judge Maxine Thomas (Metro, May 6). She is such a beautiful woman, one would never want anything bad to happen to her. It is sad that average people cannot elicit that kind of response.
There is tremendous irony in hearing a judge say, “It’s not fair. . . .”
