Gordon Johncock finally got onto the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval, ending speculation he had lost his ride for the May 29 Indy 500.
The 1973 and 1982 Indy winner is driving the car in which Roberto Guerrero of Colombia finished second to Al Unser at Indy last year. Longtime Johncock friend David Anderson, who owns the Royal Motor Racing Team, bought the car from Vince Granatelli.
