Sang Kim defeated Pierce College teammate Bill Kearsley, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, to win the Western State Conference tennis singles championship at Pierce on Tuesday.
Kim played behind Kearsley on the Pierce singles ladder this season and alongside him in doubles.
