Swiss Ambassador Selected by President

WASHINGTON — President Reagan said Tuesday he intends to nominate Philip D. Winn as the new U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, replacing Faith Ryan Whittlesey, who left the post last year after reports that she misspent embassy entertainment funds.
Winn, 63, is chairman of the board of the Philips Development Corp. in Englewood, Colo.
