Thatcher Knows Her Sign--but That’s It

LONDON — Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher referred to her zodiac sign today but ruled out appointing an astrologer to 10 Downing Street.
During her twice-weekly question time in Parliament, the British leader was asked if she planned to hire an astrologer in view of reports that President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy consulted a stargazer before scheduling any major event.
The 62-year-old Thatcher, whose birthday is Oct. 13, replied: “No. I come under Libra which is a very balanced sign.”
The Libra symbol is a pair of scales.
