2 Complete Games Highlight Sweep by CS Northridge

Cal State Northridge received strong pitching from Fili Martinez and Leo Ramirez to sweep a doubleheader from Chapman in California Collegiate Athletic Assn. action Saturday at Chapman. Martinez (4-3) went the distance in the first game, striking out seven and walking four as the Matadors coasted to a 10-4 win.
John Bonilla was 5 for 6 and Jimmy Mitchell drove in two runs to lead the Matadors.
Ramirez (5-7) struck out five and walked one in the second game, allowing four hits in a complete-game 1-0 victory.
Chae-Ho Chong hit a home run in the fourth inning for Northridge. The Matadors (20-32, 11-16 in conference play) travel to Cal Poly Pomona for a conference game Friday.
