The Cal State Dominguez Hills baseball team, which is in last place of the California Collegiate Athletic Assn., split a double-header Saturday against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
The Toros (9-18 in the conference, 18-28 overall) defeated the Mustangs 5-4 in the first game but fell 4-1 in the second.
Junior left fielder Lenny Hokanson stole home in the third inning of the first game with two outs and the bases loaded. That gave the Toros a one-run lead.
In the sixth inning, Jeff Sears had an RBI single and Joe Jones drove in Chuck Ludlow with an RBI double.
The only Dominguez Hills run in the second game came in the third inning when Ludlow drove in Mike McCarthy to make the score 2-1. The Mustangs scored two runs in the seventh inning for the final score.
