Arts, Crafts, Stories, Songs for Mom on Her Special Day
- Share via
When it comes to Mother’s Day celebrations, there is a world beyond brunch where family members can enjoy each other’s company and special activities. Kids can get in the mommy mood a day early by attending a “Moms Are Special People” story time at Pages bookstore, 18399 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana.
Children are encouraged to bring their mothers into the story circle today for a half-hour program that features four or five books about warm relationships between mother and child. The program, which begins at 11 a.m., is suitable for ages 3 to 8.
After the stories, kids will have a chance to work on crafts projects, something they can wrap and give to mom Sunday. No reservations are required. Information: (818) 342-6657.
