CBS pulled a successful directorial raid on “Good Morning America,” announcing this week the hiring of Don Roy King--a seven-year veteran of ABC’s morning talk show--who will move to “CBS This Morning.” King switches networks in June, serving as director of the morning show and also as supervising director for new CBS News programming and special projects. The talk show has so far carried on the CBS morning tradition of trailing NBC’s “Today” show and “GMA” in the ratings.
