Admar Group, Orange, reported that net income for the fiscal year ended Jan. 31, 1988, totaled $503,300, including an extraordinary credit resulting from an income tax benefit of $223,700. In the prior year, the company reported net income of $264,200, of which $101,300 was attributable to an income tax benefit. Revenues increased 34%, to $10.4 million in fiscal 1988 from $7.8 million in the prior year. Part of the revenue growth was attributed to the inclusion of SelectCare Management Co. as of September 1987, when it was acquired by Admar. For the fourth quarter, net income was $267,300, contrasted with $1,000 a year ago. Net revenues were $2.8 million, a 30% increase from the $2.2 million posted in the like period last year. The Admar Group Inc. develops, markets and administers managed health care services.
