Madonna’s 18-year-old brother Mario Ciccone pleaded innocent Monday to charges that he injured a Rochester, Mich., police officer who was checking out loud noises at a downtown home. Ciccone allegedly “shoved, or slammed, or shut, or kicked without warning the door in the officer’s face, knocking him down, breaking his glasses and cutting his forehead,” Police Chief Theodore Glynn said. The cut required more than 30 stitches and the police officer has not returned to full duty, officials said. Ciccone--the youngest of Madonna’s seven brothers--was released on personal bond pending a preliminary examination May 5. The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison.
