George Michael hits the States this summer and fall, for his first solo North American tour--with Southern California appearances slated for October--it was announced this week. The former Wham! man’s trek is scheduled to include 24 dates in the U.S. and Canada, beginning Aug. 6 at the Capitol Center in Washington and concluding with shows Oct. 2 and 3 at the Forum, Oct. 7 at Irvine Meadows and Oct. 9 at the San Diego Sports Arena. The Bestubbled One’s latest single, “One More Try,” debuted this week at No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
