Versatile Kerber Set to Attend UCLA

Canoga Park right-hander Mike Kerber, the 1987 City Section 4-A Division Player of the Year after helping lead the Hunters to the City title, has verbally committed to attend UCLA.
Kerber, who also can play catcher and first base, committed Friday night while attending a UCLA-USC game. He also was considering Arizona State and Loyola Marymount.
