British director John Boorman, a regular at this season’s awards ceremonies, received the “Courage in Film Making” award last week from the Psychotherapy Screening Guild for “Hope and Glory.” The group of mental health and film industry professionals, which honors films “that explore the human condition with sensitivity,” also honored “Gaby,” “Gardens of Stone,” “Princess Bride,” “House of Games” and “My Life as a Dog.”
