Chief of Warsaw Pact Meets With Honecker

EAST BERLIN — East German leader Erich Honecker held talks Thursday with the Warsaw Pact commander in chief, Marshal Viktor G. Kulikov, of the Soviet Union, ADN news agency reported.
It said that Honecker, the Communist Party general secretary and head of state, and Kulikov discussed “topical questions on the military-political situation.” It did not elaborate.
