Oscar Race Aftershocks

I think I’m in shock.
This year the unforgivable has been committed.
Maggie Smith, by far, gave her finest performance on film in “The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne.” It will truly be remembered as one of the great performances of all time.
I realize that it’s too late to right the wrong that has been committed, but for me, the Academy Awards will never be as meaningful. And that’s very sad.
