American modern artist Robert Rauschenberg has donated one of the works in his traveling collection to Cuba’s Museum of Fine Arts. He made the donations to Cuban Culture Minister Armando Hart at the inauguration of the “Rauschenberg Overseas Cultural Interchange” exhibition in Havana. Begun in Mexico in 1985, the itinerant exhibit has also brought the 62-year-old artist’s work to Chile, Venezuela, China and Japan. About 200 works, whose common denominator, Rauschenberg said, is “a message of love and peace,” are on exhibit.
