Northridge Women Lose at CSLA, 70-55

Marianne Dixon scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, but Cal State Northridge could not overcome the 51% shooting of Cal State Los Angeles in a 70-55 California Collegiate Athletic Assn. loss Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
Northridge, 10-11 overall and 4-3 in CCAA play, committed 30 turnovers. Bridgette Ealy was the only other CSUN player in double figures, scoring 10 points and grabbing a game-high 9 rebounds.
Lupe Quintana led Cal State L. A. (10-10) with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Geri Montanio had 17 points and Sue Doody added 12.
