Clement Hurd, Illustrator of Children’s Books
Clement Hurd, 80, illustrator of the children’s bedtime classic “Goodnight Moon,” which has sold more than 2 million copies. Hurd produced more than 100 books for children, including “The World Is Round,” the only children’s book written by Gertrude Stein.
