Honda Motor Co. plans to increase the production of cars at its wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, a Honda spokesman said. Beginning in April, Honda of Canada Manufacturing Inc. will boost annual production of 1.5 liter Civic three-door hatchback models to 25,000 cars.

Honda also plans to raise output of two-liter Accords to 25,000 this year from 15,700 in 1987, he said. About 80% of the cars produced by the Aliston, Ontario, plant are sold in the United States.
