If William Wilson spent at least half of his review on art, we might have read something interesting or informative about the work of the artist or the contents of the show in San Francisco (“The World According to Arp,” Jan. 17).
Leave comedy, however questionable, to experts in that field. We read Calendar to learn something.
If Wilson doesn’t like or understand Jean Arp, transfer him to rock reviews; they need another comic.
The Art section is short by any standards and deserves better than sitcom humor.
