Kraft’s income advanced 19% to $489.4 million for 1987. Sales totaled $9.876 billion, up 26.9% from 1986. The Glenview, Ill.-based company said the results reflect the particularly strong results from refrigerated products and international groups and its Duracell unit. It noted that domestic cheese sales and profits were outstanding, partly because of lower dairy prices.
