Jacobs Engineering Group’s income skyrocketed 227% to $1.65 million for the first quarter, primarily because of the contribution of Robert E. McKee Inc., which Pasadena-based Jacobs acquired in Oct. 1, 1987. Revenue was up 189% to $206.4 million.
