Arcadia : $362,000 U.S. Drug Award

The Police Department has received $362,000 as its share of money confiscated during numerous drug raids and arrests last year, Lt. Ed Ostashay said. The federal funds were given to the department in recognition of its role in raids in December, 1986, that led to the recovery of $1.2 million in drug money.
The department received $22,025 last month for a raid in which it participated April, 1986. The department has not decided how to use the money, Ostashay said.
