Field of 2,000 Expected for Boulevard Run

More than 2,000 runners are expected to compete next Sunday in the second Boulevard Run.

The race, which starts at 7:30 a.m. at Warner Center Park in Woodland Hills and finishes at the Studio City Recreation Center, is a half-marathon (13.11 miles) certified by The Athletics Congress.

Much of the race will be run on the south side of Ventura Boulevard, which will be closed to traffic from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Registration is $15, $18 with a T-shirt.
