Robert K. Dahl was named senior vice president and chief financial officer of American President Cos. Dahl, 47, previously served as an executive vice president and chief financial and administrative officer for Ungermann-Bass Inc. From 1979 to 1986, Dahl was vice president and chief financial officer for Rolm Corp. He served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Measurex Corp. from 1975 to 1979. American President Cos. of Oakland is a containerized cargo transportation firm.
