What a sportsman, what a friend! W.R. (Bill) Schroeder was known throughout California because winners in every sport--basketball, baseball, everything--were recognized and honored by Bill Schroeder.
Supported by Paul F. Helms and the Helms Hall, Citizen Savings, and now the Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles and Buddy Dyer, Bill Schroeder won the respect and affection of everyone involved in athletic endeavors. He’ll be missed.
