Fire in New Jersey Motel Forces 70 Guests to Flee

UNION, N.J. — An early morning fire that started in a lumberyard spread to a nearby motel Thursday, forcing about 70 guests, many of them Continental Airlines pilots and flight attendants on layover, to flee the flames. No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze had not been determined.
